DRINKSAFE INITIATIVE

The DRINKSAFE Initiative aims to empower individuals and raise awareness about drink spiking. This initiative targets everyone: students attending house or on-campus parties, nightlife enthusiasts, and individuals going out for a few drinks after work. DRINKSAFE wants people to know that there are ways to protect themselves from drink spiking by providing easy-to-use testing kits (DRINKSAFE) and spreading awareness on safety, consent, and prevention.

Our vision is to create a safer night out and campus culture where everyone feels confident, informed, and empowered to make informed decisions about their personal safety.

Drink spiking is an underreported but growing issue, especially among young adults and the LGBTQ+ community in social settings. Victims often lack resources to detect tampering, and awareness remains low. Many don't know how to respond when something seems wrong - until it's too late.

Through our initiative, we will be providing information on resources that can help you become more aware of the potential for drink spiking. We offer many tools here to keep on your person in case you or a friend feels like their drink has been spiked. Our DRINKSAFE test kits enable you to test for standard dosages of Ketamine, Cocaine, Scopolamine, and Pharmaceutical GHB (Xyrem), providing results in seconds. If your drink tests negative and you are still unsure, DO NOT DRINK your drink.

How do you use the test? It's simple, apply a drop of your drink to the yellow & pink test pads with your finger or the end of a straw. RESULTS ARE INSTANT: If either of the test pads changes to Orange, Grey, or Blue, DON'T DRINK!
